1949 Cadillac 2 Door DeVille
Here is a very Low
Production 1949 Cadillac 2 Door DeVille that has just under gone a
complete FRAME OFF restoration. Only about 2,000 of these were ever
produced. This was built from an original RUST FREE car. It has a Early 70's
Eldorado 500 Engine with a 400 Turbo Transmission, both freshly and
professionally rebuilt. The front suspension is from a 1969 Camaro with 11" Disc
Brakes. The rear suspension is a 10 Bolt GM 4 link with coil overs. It has new
Flowmaster Exhaust, Walker Radiator, Iditit Tilt Column with Original Steering
wheel and Original Instrument Cluster, Dual Air Conditioning Front and Rear, new
Wiring Harness and all new glass except the
back glass which is like new. The Chrome, Stainless and Weather
Stripping cost over $11,000 alone. It has Power
Windows converted from Hydraulic to Electric. The tires are Coker
Wide White Radials. Car still retains the original floor pans trunk pan and
rockers. There was NO major patch panels required. This truely is an amazing
car. No Expense was spared on the Fresh Rebuild, over $100,000.
